Defines all the color and image fill options for a shape, text or other component.

Value Type Description
Color (@color) PDFColor The block color to fill the component content.
FillStyle (@style) FillStyle enumeration The type of fill that should be used. Possible values are: None - no fill even if other values are set. Solid - fill with a solid color Pattern - not currently supported. Image - use a repeating image If this value has not explicitly been set then if there is an image source on the item it will default to Image, otherwise if there is a color set on the item it will be Solid. If none of these are set then it will default to None.
Opacity (@opacity) PDFReal A floating point number between 0 and 1 where 1 is opaque (the default if not set) and 0 transparent. Any value in between will be partially opaque where any content below is visible behind the background fill.
ImageSource (@img-src) string The absolute or relative path to an image to use as a background. If none of the sizing options are specified, then the image will appear at native size repeating in the horizontal and vertical axes offset by the size of the image. The top left of the image will appear at the top left of the bounding rectangle.
PatternRepeat (@repeat) PatternRepeat enumeration An enumeration that specify how a pattern or image background should repeat over the boundary rectangle. Options are:
  • None - the pattern or image will not repeat
  • RepeatX - only repeat in the horizontal axis.
  • RepeatY - only repeat in the vertical axis.
  • RepeatBoth - output a grid of patterns or images in the vertical and horizontal axes.
PatternXPosition (@x-pos) PDFUnit The offset from the left edge where the repeat should start. Note - if the pattern repeats in the X direction there will be a part of the repeat before this offset.
PatternYPostion (@y-pos) PDFUnit The offset from the top edge where the repeat should start. Note - if the pattern repeats in the Y direction there will be a part of the repeat above this offset.
PatternXStep (@x-step) PDFUnit The step repeat size in the horizontal direction.
PatternYStep (@y-step) PDFUnit The step repeat size in the vertical direction.
