The overlay grid is a useful positioning and layout aid, but is generally not required for final presentation. By rendering a grid over a component, or the page then accurate positioning of child components can be performed while testing layout. The grid supports a number of properties that alter it’s appearance and scale

Value Type Description
ShowGrid (@show) Boolean If false (default) then the grid will never be shown. If true then a grid will be rendered over the top of the applied component.
GridSpacing (@spacing) PDFUnit The unit distance between the vertical lines and the horizontal lines. Default is 50pt spacing.
GridColor (@color) PDFColor The color of the lines to render. Default is aqua #00FFFF.
GridOpacity (@opacity) double The opacity of the rendered lines - 0 being transparent and 1 being opaque. Default is 0.5.
GridXOffset (@x-offset) PDFUnit The horizontal offset of the top left corner of the grid relative to the component. Default is 0.
GridYOffset (@x-offset) PDFUnit The vertical offset of the top left corner of the grid relative to the component. Default is 0.
HighlightColumns (@fill-columns) Boolean If true then each of the column region boundaries will be filled with the same color and opacity as the grid. Default is false.
